Étretat, northeast of Le Havre

1 May was a public holiday in France.  I had no school.  Berry suggested driving around to Etretat.

The drive from the hotel at Malakoff to Etretat took about three hours.  We reached a rocky beach in western France.  Berry told us this was the most beautiful spot he had found in France all these years.

五月一日是法國假期，所以沒有返學，Berry提議駕車到Étretat一遊。
由酒店Malakoff往Étretat車程約3個鐘，這是法國西部的一個石灘，Berry極力推薦，他告訴我是他在法國多年所看最美的地方。

Claude Monet an impressionable school artist lived there when he was young.  He produced a lot of works reflecting the marvellous changes there.
